I saw this man on the Metro this past Monday, and asked him who the flowers were for. They were for his wife. They’ve been married for 47 years. Every Monday, he brings her home flowers after work. My heart died at that moment.

My mother’s been sick today (please make du’a for her speedy recovery insha’Allah)
So I’ve done all the cooking. Breakfast - i shared the recipe with you guys.
Lunch was pizza and cinnamon sticks which were so dang amazing. OMG. Alhamdulillah.
And now, me and my apu just prepared the most amazing dinner ever. Gunna eat in like five minutes. I can’t wait.
My mom is actually feeling better and she’s really happy to see that the household can run even if she isn’t around to help all the time. And the first thing she says after realizing that I can actually keep a house tidy and stuff is - “At least now I know that once you get married, you wont starve your husband.”

Which is REALLY bad for me as it’s hard enough to gain weight for me.
My mom freaked out. Then she came up with a new tactic.
Lets see if you guys can guess her tactic: Last weekend, she ordered ppizza for me. This whole week, she cooked my most favorite dishes. Today, she cooked a lot of brown YUMMY food. She made polao (the brown kids know what i mean..its a kind of rice) and like chicken korma (again, brown food) and chinese vegetable curry, and roast quail.
Legit though, she’s planning on bribing me with good food. I’d be lying if i said it wasn’t work though. LOL
Imma go eat guyssssss~ :D
& the couple was the CUTEST! They never touched each other before and when the Nikaah was over they did this high-five hug thing, after the girl is like yes! we can finally touch! It was so adorable.
